little care is a charity for children based on the foothills of Mount Merapi, Yogyakarta, providing instruction in English for children in local villages, giving these children a chance for a better future . The Indonesian independence day, children in care little spent an hour to clean garbage from areas surrounding their reading rooms, and separate their waste into recyclable and non-recyclable.
"It is important that children have an understanding from a young age not to throw garbage, and also that the waste has a value, and that's why we teach them to separate their waste. In our village, here we have large tanks shared the villagers used to throw their garbage away, separating plastic and glass from organic materials, we compost, "says Ibu Indah, director and founder of Little Care.
