I had the pleasure of drinking myself to a better awareness that animal lovers gathered Sunday, September 2 to drink for a cause! A beer for Stray is a collaboration between Adopt! Indonesia (LAI) and Alcoholics Bar & Grill. This annual event was initiated by the owners of Alcoholics, Judith and Patrick Gunadi, who are huge supporters of ATIA. IPM is a nonprofit organization working under the umbrella of Adopt! , An international global group of rescuers of animals based in Turkey.

LAI is currently focusing on educating people about the importance to castration and sterilization pets to prevent overcrowding that often leads to owners giving away and getting rid of excess animals further promote "pet adoption" among Indonesian families - Do not Copy and buy die homeless, adopt! True to all animal organizations they continue the fight against the cruelty and exploitation of animals and to put an end to discrimination of domestic animals - all breeds of dogs and cats are deemed equal in life

.

Carolina Fajar, the founder of Access Act says that, unlike other animal rescue organizations, impartial approach LAI helps animals considered "unrehomable" because of their impure race, health and disability. LAI helps animals that other organizations find it too difficult. activities and life updates are promptly posted on the   page of AIA where you can see the great work and progress that Caroline and her team are rehabilitating the lives of our furry friends. Calls and emails from people help locate the animals waiting to be rescued. Carol added that all AIA staff will never condone should they come across a furry friend in need.

hundred percent of the sales of beer and twenty percent of all other sales were donated to IPM to raise funds that cover the cost of medical treatment, sterilization and rescue efforts. Judith, Patrick and Clarissa and Bastian friends collectively donated 300 bottles of beer. DJ asked, DJ Romeo and DJ Jeffry volunteer their time and did what they do best up to about 20 hours when Patrick took the bridges. Fundraising began at 15 hours and after forty-five minutes, it was not uncommon to have already had your third glass. Knowing that a drink was going to a good cause gave us the perfect reason and the reason to drink more than we should perhaps have a Sunday afternoon. We could not find a more appropriate place to promote drinking in the name of charity of a restaurant named Alcoholics certainly gave us the encouragement that we did not need to drink and be merry with friends.
