Is that democracy exists today in the world? I would say only at Community level and in tribal and some significant States. The Republics of the United States and Indonesia are called as democratic republics. The basic definition of a republic is defined by the absence of a monarch as head of state. Contemporarily it is a form of government with an elected president and elected officials accountable to the people and a democratic republic.
Thomas Jefferson; architect of the Declaration of Independence, had a dream that America is based on direct democracy in Athens, Greece in the 5th century B. C. Now that democracy is not found. "Politics is a joke."
"The policy has changed my life. I had to leave my country for over 20 years because I did not want to kill women and children in a illegal war. "
" I am a woman. We just got the right to vote 68 years ago and we are always endeavored to equal pay and representation. America has never had a woman president. "
" Policy? You're kidding! You mean the legal corruption? "
