I recently had to do something that I never really wanted, and to my surprise, I found that it was actually one of the most amazing and enjoyable things I've ever done. It's something I've avoided doing until now because I could not for the life of me, understand why anyone would want to. It seemed that the "anti-experience 'ultimate offering too much organization and a lack of spontaneity
I usually like to decide things last minute;. I want to fly a new and interesting places, rent a car and drive until I find something or some unusual hand and stop and take a look. I drove from Geneva to Cannes once just for the hell of it, and halfway there I decided to get off the highway and take the back roads. a few hours later, I was having lunch alone next to an ancient coliseum just as impressive as that of Rome, and an old woman completely circular a Renaissance painting was to serve me a plate of cheese and cook meat with a good bottle of red wine because it was apparently what I requested the menu written by hand. It is in this context that I am sure to go on my first "cruise". Anathema to an anarchist hobo like me, but it was only three days, so I thought:?.. "How can it be bad" and went for it and I am very happy that I did
first of all, have you seen the size of these "Freakin ships? I had already seen in the sea and I saw pictures in the brochures of course, but I never really got my head around . scope of things one I did had more than 3,000 passengers and over 1,000 crew I apologize to all the seasoned cruisers there, yawning right now and saying. "Welcome the world of sonny, "but I am really flabbergasted.
Apparently, the largest cruise ship in the world can accommodate nearly twice as many passengers, but for me there comes a time when "Holy sh * t!" Apply across the board.
I always thought that a cruise would be my worst nightmare come true; all set and done everything in groups at certain times of the day, each meal depending on your timed lap on the list. And that's exactly what it is, if you want it. If you do not want it to be, you can go where you want to go when you want, and you can have each meal served in your cabin (not "cabin", old) for a small additional cost. As we had a suite with its own balcony, as well as any five star hotel I've ever stayed, it was a frequent choice. (Cruising is not something you want to do on a budget. - Either do it right or do not do it at all)
If you like a nice room with a balcony that offers a new and breathtaking view all the morning, the cruise is for you. There are breathtaking dining choices, and believe it or not, they do not gouge you with the price of alcohol - it's comparable with prices in a hotel, actually cheaper than many. And with the ship being the floating city whether you are never a short walk from a variety of shows and other entertainment options. Within three days, we were on board we saw four West End shows different style, a comedian, several groups and we even had the US privilege lose $ 50 in the casino before we know what happened . It is a small piece of Las Vegas floating in the sea and just as often that you get to go ashore and getting ripped off by locals. I highly recommend it.
And for those of you who were chuckling all the way through this imagining participant to another type of cruise, please grow up.
