Salyem is 39 years old and has been selling its herbal drugs for eight years. Her aunt taught him in the world of Jamu and take Salyem with her in the streets of Kebayoran Lama. Her husband is a balloon salesman and together they manage to survive, although their rent is Rp.300,000 a month and they have concerns about the rising cost of living.

They have two children, 11 years and lives in Semarang is supported by the grandmother of Salyem and his other son is 19 years old and has applied for a job with Astra. Salyem and her husband are trying to save enough money to purchase their 11 years of a laptop but feel that this is a dream can become a reality.
