dancers entered the stage wearing a dress of traditional Dayak, moving their hands beautifully. Hornbill feathers on their heads have completed their eyes as the symbol of the Dayak Culture -. The natives of Borneo

The Berasih dance is a combination of various traditional dances of Borneo. In ancient times, most dances were performed as part of a sacred ceremony, praising the gods as an appreciation of a good harvest or a request for healing. The ancient dance has been preserved to this day, as well as traditional musical instruments. Today, these dances are usually performed to welcome guests at official events.

Various dance moves are used to deliver the message for cleaning in a way that the tradition and the message of the 3Rs (reduce, reuse, recycle) are mixed.

The dancers begin in a circle, joint training in Dayak dance. The peak of the dance when the dancers collect different types of waste, with two dancers by placing them in the recycling bin, while the other dancers look. Soon, the other dancers are doing the same.

After another dance routine, the dancers circle around the large bin and remove the recycled products, which are transformed into creative and useful things, such as lint, paper flowers, lampshade day and more.

This dance reminded the audience, and us, that what people can do to help save the environment is to make recycling a part of our daily life.
